The ‘Burgemeestergame' , developed by TNO, Utrecht School of the Arts, Thales and T-Xchange in the pilot Safety, will be made available for safety regions as a web-based training instrument through 'Academie voor Crisisbeheersing, Nederlands Instituut voor Crisisbeheersing (NIFV).

The local tv channel UStad paid attention to gaming in their item "bij ons in". Topics included: localization of games, game development studio, the GATE project, academic Game Technology study, and motion capture. See RTV Utrecht  for the video's.

Quest, Issue June 2011: Erik van der Spek (PhD student  GATE WP 4.3, 'Learning with simulated worlds,) was interviewed as expert in serious games by the popular science magazine Quest. The article was published in Quest Psychologie nr. 2, June 2011. (In Dutch.)
